Bill and I are in the middle of re-organizing, and re-decorating our bedroom. In the process we have been throwing away a ton of crap. Things that I can't believe we ever kept in the first place. It has been a fun and rewarding process. Our closets are finally organized! Sometimes I just sit and stare in awe at the site of our shirts, pants, sweaters and shoes stacked, hung, folded and sorted neatly in the closet. I am still putting the final touches on the room and have discovered that we are in desperate need of items for the walls. Right now we have only one very ordinary picture hung so I have been shopping for artwork. It has been so much fun. I have come across some pretty amazing art in the process. While not really a fit for our bedroom (or our budget), I think that Jonathan Weiner’s work is truly beautiful.

The Page Six article includes a list of some of the material found in the storage unit and they include:

* Prescription bottles for Hydrocodone, a painkiller similar to OxyContin used to manage anxiety disorders, post-party sleep aid Ambien and the herpes medication Valtrex.

* A medical bill from a Los Angeles clinic, billing an "Amber Taylor" - with the same birth date as Paris - for a miscarriage in March 2003.

* A journal analyzing her booze-fueled dreams.

* Her reality TV co-star Nicole Richie's University of Arizona ID card.

* Sister Nicky's Nevada marriage certificate.

* Several bank statements, including one with an ending monthly balance of just $9.26.

* Home videos she shot of visits with her sick grandmother.

* To-do lists that include an assortment of errands, including a reminder to buy Christmas gifts.

I saw DreamGirls over the weekend and I still can't stop thinking about it. It was one of the best movies I have seen in years. Everyone was great in the movie. Jamie Foxx, terrific. Eddie Murphy, I can't say enough about him. He stole the show in most of his scenes. I have got to say, though, it was a toss up between Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson. All the hype from the movie is surrounding Jennifer (and she was amazing). But, Beyonce surprised the hell out of me. No question she is BEAUTIFUL! But there is something else about her in this movie. I can't quite put my finger on it.

These Moments Are Golden

A review of last night's Golden Globes from TMZ.com:

"Sometimes awards shows make us weep a little, laugh a little, or sleep a little. And then there are moments that just make us cringe, a lot.Last night's Golden Globes was no exception. Long after Ryan Seacrest's thoroughly wince-inducing stand-up with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Warren Beatty made us wince with a deeply awkward (and incorrect) "Borat" impression. Best TV Comedy Actress winner, America Ferrara, positively made us gnash our soup dumplings when she exited the stage after her touching acceptance speech and waited like a glowingly expectant puppy to be interviewed by NBC's Maria Menounos. And waited. And waited. And then had to run offstage, ignored by the blathering Ms. M. Such indignity!Then, as Prince was a no-show to accept his award for best song, Justin Timberlake waited for his Petite Purple Majesty to come and collect his trophy, then saved the cringe-worthy moment by making himself a foot shorter and accepting on Prince's behalf."

And finally, I wanted to share this from the show last night which hopefuly helps you forget about all the uncomfortable moments. It may also make you forget that it is a sin to lust after another man.
