I found this at Gizmodo. For just $19.99, you get a LED faucet light that streams blue water normally, but turns red as soon as it hits 89 degrees. Gimmicky, sure, but at that price how could you say no? – Jason Chen

Gwen, Pink, Bono, Annie & BORAT
I hope the new project that American Idol launched last night turns out to be a huge success. I think it is an amazing idea. Tune in April 24th and 25th.

Cutting through the Blog Smog
I just discovered Delightful Blogs. It's tagline (also the title of this post) says it all. Plus, I think the bird is super cute. Check it out.

It's Fergalicious

Each month Dooce aka Heather Armstrong writes a newsletter to her daughter (pictured above). Heather is an amazingly honest writer and an outstanding mother. These newsletters almost always makes me cry. This month she ended her letter with this paragraph:

Jordan Catalano All Growed Up & Out

You have to see these before and after pictures of Jared Leto from dlisted.com. He put on the weight for an upcoming movie about Mark David Chapman, the man who murdered John Lennon.
So you aren't scared for life, here is Jared Leto on one of his better days.

I Wish I Could Afford Every Color
I just ordered these shoes. I loved all the color choices but decided on the White/Chrystal Blue/Orange Popsicle. They make me think of spring and summer. Check out the White/Bok Choy Green. Super cute!

Two Great Movies From The Past

I just saw this movie again and I can't get over this song. I have no idea who Satchel is or if he is even talented but the song is a perfect fit for the movie. If you haven't seen this movie, I'm sorry. If you have, I highly recommend watching it again. This is one of my all time favorite movies.
I remember how much I loved this song when I first saw the movie. Plus Leo and Claire are so super cute! Baz Luhrmann can sure make great movies. Also highly recommended.
When The Dog Bites
I think it's perfectly OK for John McCain and Barack Obama to say that the US is wasting the lives of the American troops that have been killed in Iraq. In the ignoble pursuit of politics, people are penalized for telling the truth, or at least for telling their honest opinions. Words are twisted by the media and opponents to take on other meanings. In this case, we're supposed to be outraged for McCain and Obama suggesting that those who have chosen to serve in the armed forces are wasting their lives. Does anyone honestly believe that either of these two guys really meant to say that?

These Things Are Everywhere
I can't believe how huge wall decals are right now. Each week I'm coming across more companies that specialize in these vinyl works of art, and I'm constantly amazed by how some really look like actual hand-painted wall murals. I found Apple Pie Design for the first time last night, and had to share.
By the way, our bedroom is FINALLY DONE! I will post pictures soon - you won't believe how beautiful my new artwork looks.

What A Relief
I have been looking forward to seeing Jake in his new movie Zodiac. Not because I thought it would be a great movie or even a good movie, but because it's Jake. I am excited to report that I actually get to see Jake and watch a good movie at the same time. Rotten Tomatoes is giving Zodiac an 86% fresh rating. I tend get a little nervous after seeing The Day After Tomorrow.
